  18. <p>     Usually he's stalking the elusive treaty. But on one of his
  19. diplomatic trips this summer, Secretary of State James Baker
  20. will be going after the real thing: big game.
  21. </p>
  22. <p>     The objects of his hunterly interest are in Mongolia, where
  23. Baker plans to spend five days in early August. With a visit
  24. to Ulan Bator during a swing through Asia, he will acknowledge
  25. the political changes in this remote Stalinist outpost, where
  26. the Communist Party recently relinquished its monopoly on power
  27. and agreed to hold free elections. That done, outdoorsman Baker
  28. plans to head for the hills to enjoy a little hunting.
  29. Mongolia's fauna include the spiral-horned Altai Argali wild
  30. sheep, the ibex and the black-tailed gazelle, and Baker is
  31. known to be especially enthusiastic about this mission.
